You can subscribe in the App to remove the ads : the reason why it is not a one-time fee is that it takes a lot of time to prepare the information, just like a news App - not a one-shot development like a game. Do they show up every time you click on the menu on your device ? Then it is probably a bug. While you are right that interstitial full page ads are used in the App, they hopefully do not show up every time you navigate in the App. Thanks for your feedback ! Actually we are paying much attention to the user experience and try not to flood the users with ads. Note: I suspect the positive reviews may be employees, friends, family of the app developer because nobody would find this acceptable. just to see the same live rankings provided on numerous other apps (including the ATP/WTA’s own app) and websites at no charge without being battered by ads. but c’mon! It’s clear the developer it’s attempting to annoy the user into paying a subscription. I understand they have a right to fund themselves via advertising. All things together, you’ll spend more time circumnavigating the obnoxious advertising than actually using the app. ,and then only my tapping a tiny ‘x’ that you will inevitably miss periodically, launching the page of that advertiser.

To ad insult to injury, the full pager can’t be cleared for a certain amount of time. The full page ad that shows up at every screen change is not. The smaller banner at the bottom of the page is acceptable.
